For the new Jeep Commander, the first car of the brand developed in Brazil, we wanted to bring an elegant approach to Jeep's DNA. Slash Gold translates the premiumness of gold, with a subtle twist. It's a sophisticated element while also versatile.
Since the Commander was designed in Minas Gerais in Brazil, Minas stands for mines: the state was the country's  biggest gold supplier during the XVIII century. We were also heavily inspired by the bucolic landscapes of the state's characteristic biome: the Cerrado, with its golden vegetation that at first seems dry, but with a closer look is full of life.
Slash Gold was designed as the launch color for the 2021 model, a high gloss metallic paint with aluminium flakes that stand out in the light.
